The film follows the title character (Jonigkeit) as he navigates his search for a moral center, after an act of compassion upends his life. Looking to authority figures he encounters along the way — including his eventual cellmate, Gene (LaBeouf) — Henry’s journey leads him down a road of manipulation and ethical uncertainty.。这是一场人生菜鸟与人生前辈的真实对话。节目在国务院所属中国老龄协会的指导下，邀请3位独居上海阅历丰富的人生前辈，与N位有独特人生态度的沪漂青年，开启一场为期21天的代际共居体验。通过隔代人的共居，走近并理解对方的世界，交到打破时间的朋友，探索一种未来新的生活方式，创造一个城市中无血缘、有亲情的“家” 。。
