一位年迈的老警察深信在他小镇上被捕的神秘陌生人是无辜的，进而展开的调查就像捅了马蜂窝一样，将永远改变这个镇子。。长耳朵和短尾巴两只小兔子是好朋友。一天，它俩在树林里发现了一个很大的蘑菇。为了争要这个蘑菇，两个好朋友争吵起来，树上的小松鼠见了直笑话它们。长耳朵感到很不好意思，要求短尾巴把蘑菇给它看看就行了。它拿起大蘑菇左看右看，总看不够。短尾巴生怕长耳朵不还给它，就去抢，由于用力太猛，蘑菇被弄碎了。于是它俩又互相埋怨并打起架来。老松鼠批评它们不该打架，短尾巴很不乐意，它赌气离开长耳朵，独自采蘑菇去了。不料，突然下了大雨，短尾巴被瀑布冲到山沟底下，满满的一篮蘑菇也都撒了。这时，长耳朵冒雨找到短尾巴，把它从沟底救了上来。短尾巴感动地检讨了自己的错误，两只小兔子又和好如初了。。SYNOPSIS Urgently called, the police inspector has arrived in a hotel, and didn't find any crime, but noticed some strangenesses occurring there. (Strugatsky Brothers website) NOTES This is a crime / mystery thriller with surreal and psychedelic science fiction overtones based on a book Inspector Glebsky's Puzzle by the Strugatsky brothers. The screenplay was also written by the brothers and it differs from the book. The less you know about the movie the better starting point you have. The film is based largely on the mystery of what's happening to the people of Dead Mountaineer's Hotel. Is everything what it seems? Who's dead or who's not?。
