某公司会计李兰和某信用社借贷员翠翠因贪污罪被判服刑，二人结伴越狱潜逃。武警战士带着警犬四处搜捕逃犯。刑警队长庞勇通过了解情况，开始对此案产生疑问。丁兰在二威的帮助下，迫使她单位的财务科孙科长交代了与钱经理合伙贪污公款的罪行。而翠翠为向陷害她的胡处长讨回公道，找到他家，遇到前来找寻帐本的丁兰。原来她俩竟是为同一伙人顶罪。丁兰拿出伪造的炸药包，逼迫胡处长对着录音机承认了他们贪污公款的罪行。丁兰和翠翠证据在握，连夜返回监狱。胡处长追杀而来，危机之中，庞勇突然出现，开枪将胡击毙。。Young people use music to express their new awareness of life and generational opposition to their parents, as well as to protest the social and political climate in East Germany.
