デビュー作「大日本人」（07）で、カンヌ国際映画祭の監督週間部門に正式招待された人気お笑い芸人、ダウンタウン・松本人志の監督第2作。気がつくと、四方を白い壁に囲まれた何もない部屋に閉じ込められていた謎の男の脱出劇が、コミカルかつミステリアスなタッチで描かれる。前作同様、松本自身が主演と脚本を兼任。共同脚本に高須光聖。音楽は「チャイナシャドー」「ジュブナイル」の清水靖晃。。U.S. version of the British show 'Love Island' where a group of singles come to stay in a villa for a few weeks and have to couple up with one another. Over the course of those weeks, they face a public vote and might be eliminated from the show. Other islanders join and try to break up the couples.
