拉丁美洲盛行“哭泣的女人”拉洛罗娜的民间传说。曾经在危地马拉对当地土著人实行种族灭绝的退役将军恩里克如今被提起刑事诉讼；患老年痴呆症的将军越来越频繁地听到夜间有女人哭泣之声而产生日益严重的幻觉。虽然受到包庇而无罪释放，愤怒的民众却包围了他的住所，而随着一位神秘女仆的到来，诡异的拉罗罗娜诅咒正在一步步应验。。A comic-book artist meets a woman on the NY streets, but after a quick flirtation, she suddenly collapses, and is picked-up by an old ambulance. He checks all the hospitals in the area, but the woman seems to have disappeared.。Tanya arrives in London with her son Artyom, expecting to be met by her boyfriend. When he doesn't show and immigration wants to send her back to Russia, she asks for political asylum to buy some time.
