《大后方》为2015年纪念中国抗日战争胜利70周年而作，全片共12集，每集50分钟。 《大后方》意在通过电视镜头再现与解读战时中国大后方的完整历史，全力展示一个真实的立体的鲜活的抗战中国。阐述大后方的存在与中国抗战胜利的关系，表现大后方的亿万普通民众在战争中受到的严峻考验，赞美他们持久而智慧的应对与抗争。它在强大的敌人面前挣扎、搏斗、倍尝艰难，经历各种痛苦的蜕变，但绝不屈服而赢得最后的胜利。。影片描述了两位小镇青年宏升和磊子在传承和摇滚的两种音乐之路上的文化碰撞，在寻求音乐梦想之路过程中的经历和磨难后，以自创曲目《贺兰英雄》意外在网络爆红，故事的最终磊子和宏升回到了小镇一起演出了一曲《东方红》.....。Las Vegas stripper, Penny Slot (Rena Riffel), sets out on an adventure to become the star dancer on a dance television show.
