The show was performed by twelve international dancers, seven musicians from the European, contemporary classical collective s t a r g a z e and the Irish traditional concertina player Cormac Begley...。里奥（约翰·吉尔伯特 John Gilbert 饰）和乌尔里希（拉尔斯·汉森 Lars Hanson 饰）是从小玩到大的好友，两人之间的友谊十分的坚实。一次偶然中，里奥邂逅了名为费莉希蒂（葛丽泰·嘉宝 Greta Garbo 饰）的女人，虽然费莉希蒂已经结了婚，但是他们依然不可自持的坠入了情网之中。 在一次偷情的过程中，费莉希蒂的丈夫意外归来撞破了奸情，在决斗中，里奥获胜了。之后，身败名裂的里奥被上司派往非洲执行任务，为期五年之久，临走前，里奥将费莉希蒂托付给乌尔里希照料。一晃眼多年过去，当里奥再度回到家乡时却发现，费莉希蒂早已经嫁给了乌尔里希。。
